Vengo de Beijing, China.
Conocí a mi esposa en 2005 en Shanxi, y nos casamos en 2012. Tenemos una hija,
NuanNuan, que tiene tres años. Cuando era niño, realicé muchos dibujos de mis
cómics, y luego mis padres se dieron cuenta del talento que tengo. Finalmente
me enviaron a una clase de dibujo para aprender habilidades de dibujo estándar.
Antes de ingresar a la Academia de Arte. Recibí mi Licenciatura en Diseño de
Moda del Instituto de Tecnología de Ropa de Beijing de 2004 a 2008. Después de
graduarme, me convertí en artista de juegos y trabajé para dos compañías de
videojuegos, NETEASE y UBISOFT, entre 2008 -2014.
Durante ese tiempo, la
pintura digital fue una gran parte de mi vida. En 2014, decidí volver mi
atención al arte tradicional porque pensé que la pintura al óleo podría
fortalecer mis habilidades de pintura digital ya que se complementan entre sí
de muchas maneras.
Me gustaría ver el mundo y
ver el arte utilizando las perspectivas tanto china como occidental. Ver lo que
es diferente entre los Estados Unidos y China y ampliar mis horizontes de arte
y vida son mis objetivos. Creo que si tengo experiencias de vida más ricas, mis
obras de arte a su vez serán más significativas.
En el futuro, no quiero que
mi atención se vea limitada por una sola forma de arte, como la pintura digital
o al óleo. Disfrutar y experimentar la vida y crear obras de arte tanto
digitales como tradicionales basadas en las inspiraciones y experiencias de la
observación directa son el tipo de vida que imagino. Abrir mi propio estudio de
arte también es uno de mis objetivos futuros.

Autobiography
I come from Beijing China. I met my wife in 2005 in
ShanXi, and we were married in 2012. We
have a daughter, NuanNuan who is three years old. As a child, I was drew many
drawing from my comic books, and then my parents realized the talent I have.
Final they sent me to a drawing class to learning standard drawing skills.
Before I came to the Academy of Art, I received my Bachelor’s degree of Fashion
Design from Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology from 2004 to 2008. After
graduation, I became a game artist and
worked for two video game companies, NETEASE and UBISOFT, between
2008-2014.
During that time, Digital painting was a big part of
my life. In 2014, I decided to move my attention back to traditional art
because I thought oil painting would strengthen
my digital painting skills since they complement each other in many
ways.
I would like to see the world and see art by using
both Chinese and western perspectives. Seeing what’s different between the
United States and China and broadening my horizons of art and life are my
goals. I believe if I have richer life experiences, my artworks in turn, will
be more meaningful..
In the future, I do not want my attention to be
limited by a single art form such as digital or oil painting. Enjoying and
experiencing life, and creating both digital and traditional artworks which are
based on the inspirations and experiences from direct observation are the kind
of life I imagine. Opening my own art studio is also one of my future goals.
