Kevin Gorges

Kevin Georges nace en 1961 y ha estado pintando desde la infancia. El arte corre por las venas de su familia; su bisabuelo Thomas Norris, escocés, pintó paisajes exquisitos con el estilo de la antigua tradición holandesa. Después de recibir un título formal en música, comenzó a estudiar dibujo en serio bajo la tutela privada de Jill Pottle, en Boston, y Robert Cormier en la Gammell Estudio de Boston. Luego se trasladó a Florencia, Italia, donde estudió con Daniel Graves, y enseñó durante 4 años en la Academia de Arte de Florencia, y también impartió un taller en colores pastel del verano. Además de Italia, ha enseñado en Irlanda y ahora en Santa Fe durante los últimos 9 años. Su trabajo se ha visto en exposiciones en Londres, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Florida y Florencia.
